New Advantex account manager drives growth
Fast growing Houghton-le-Spring IT and Communications company Advantex Network Solutions Ltd is gearing up for new business boost this year and next following a key appointment.
James Miller, xx…age, has been recruited from recruitment specialists Pareto Law as an account manager with the task of managing new business and driving the company’s ambitious growth plans forward in 2007.
The move follows the recent appointment of several network engineers and trainee apprentices, who have been further boosts to the business.
Advantex designs, installs and commissions’ data and voice local area networks (LANs) for commercial and industrial companies and the new appointments bring the number of full and part-time people working at the firm to over 30.
The appointments come as the company smashed a £1 million turnover target this summer – hitting its six-year target two years earlier than anticipated.
Operations director David O’Connell said the company was committed to business growth as it looks to capitalise on continued customer demand for its high quality, leading edge IT and Communications network and web-based communications solutions.
“James is a key appointment for us as we look to drive business growth forward next year across all our key public and private sector markets.
“He will be major asset to the business and reflects our policy of recruiting and investing in people of the highest calibre to support our customer service activities.”
Clients include Nissan, furniture retailer SCS, Caterpillar Articulated Trucks, NSK Steering, Simpson’s Malt and wood-based panels manufacturer Egger (UK) Ltd.
Advantex achieved the prestigious ISO9001/2000 industry quality mark within its first year of trading.
